NORTHY LAD is a 3yo full brother to exciting sprinter EXFORTYTHREE. He is a trial winner from two attempts and is currently one month into his third preparation in the Myrtle House Stable. He will be ready to trial in four weeks’ time and has held his own against genuine city class performers and winners in the stable to date. His excellent first trial underlines his raw talent, running faster overall time and a faster last 600m time than his older brother on the same day.
NORTHY LAD’S Dam, SOFFRAAJ has produced Brian Crowley Stakes winner KOTE, as well as $500,000 stakes prizemoney winner CAESAR’S PALACE. Other winners include MISSILE DEFENCE and the aforementioned EXFORTYTHREE.
